How The Insurance Peer Group Works

The Insurance Peer Group is simple by design. You show up once a month, bring real challenges from your agency, and leave with ideas from owners who have already solved the challenges you are facing.

Step 1: Apply

Fill out a short application about your agency and what you're working on right now.

Step 2: Have a 30-Minute Conversation

We'll talk through your agency, your goals, and whether a peer group is the right fit. There's no pressure on this call. It's a two-way conversation.

Step 3: Get Placed in the Right Group

You'll be matched with a group of 10 or fewer independent agency owners. Nobody in your group competes with you in your market, so you can speak openly.

Step 4: Meet Every Month

Each group meets virtually on Zoom once a month and in-person twice a year.

What Happens in a Meeting

Every meeting follows a structure so the time is focused and useful:

  1. Agency Updates: Each member shares updates about what you are working on, new challenges, and progress on current initiatives.
  2. Shared insight: Members compare notes on carriers, markets, hiring, technology, and operations.
  3. Commitments: Everyone leaves with one clear action to take before the next meeting.

Some meetings also include guest speakers from the insurance industry. On-site meetings also include hot seat time to get group input on your biggest decisions.

Between Meetings

You'll have access to your peer group members for accountability and real-time support. You can also reach Kyle directly when direct support is needed.
