Straight answers about how the Insurance Peer Group works, and who it's for.
An insurance agency peer group is a small group of agency owners who meet regularly to share best practices, work through business decisions, and hold each other accountable. We run facilitated peer groups for independent P&C agency owners across the United States.
Independent P&C insurance agency owners, typically with $500K or more in annual revenue. We don't work with captive agents or national brokers.
No. No two members of a group compete in the same market. That rule is what allows members to share openly.
That's a common concern, and it's a fair one. You decide what you share and when. Most members start with general challenges and open up more as trust builds. Because nobody in the room competes with you, and [every member agrees to keep group discussions confidential], the group becomes one of the safest places to talk about your agency.
Groups meet once a month for about two hours on Zoom, so agency owners can join from anywhere in the country. We also meet in-person twice a year for deeper dives and strategic planning.
No. We are completely independent and not affiliated with any carrier, software company, agency management system, or vendor, so nobody is selling you a product in the meetings.
Conferences give you general information from the stage. A peer group gives you specific advice about your agency from the same small group of owners every month, plus accountability to actually act on it.
Every group is facilitated by Kyle Gorman, co-founder of Gadal Strategies. Kyle has 15+ years of insurance agency consulting experience and has facilitated agency owner peer groups nationally since 2020.
